Colakreek is one of Suriname’s oldest and most well-known recreation resorts, located less than 10 minutes from Zanderij / Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport.

Set in a lush tropical landscape, the resort is famous for its natural creek with distinctive “cola-colored” water, offering a unique and relaxing swimming experience in a peaceful, natural setting.

In a quiet area near the forest edge, four charming holiday homes are available. These houses feature two bedrooms with beds, a private shower and toilet, an outdoor kitchen, barbecue facilities, and a spacious veranda where guests can enjoy nature and unwind.

Guests who prefer not to cook can order simple meals from the on-site cafeteria. Colakreek is also an excellent location for camping in true Surinamese style, birdwatching, and nature relaxation.

Thanks to its convenient location near the airport, Colakreek is an ideal place for a relaxing stay, a nature getaway, or a final overnight stop before departing Suriname.
