To become a host, simply create a free account on our platform and fill in your profile details. Next, add your property information, including the name, type of accommodation, location, number of rooms, facilities, and nearby attractions. Upload 8–10 high-quality photos of both the inside and outside of your property to make it appealing to guests. Once you’ve set your prices and availability, submit your listing for review. After it’s approved, it will be published on the website, and guests can start booking your place.

Is there a cost to list my property?

No, there is no cost to create or publish your listing on Suriname Vakantiehuizen. We only charge a small commission when you receive a confirmed booking through our platform. This commission covers marketing, payment processing, and customer support so you can focus on providing a great stay for your guests.

How do I get paid?

All guest payments are processed securely through our system. Once the guest checks in, your earnings will be transferred directly to your chosen bank account. You can track your earnings in real time through your Host Dashboard, ensuring full transparency.

Can I control my prices?

Yes, as a host, you have complete control over your pricing. You can set nightly, weekly, or monthly rates and adjust them anytime. You can also offer seasonal discounts or special rates for longer stays. All these changes can be managed easily from your Host Dashboard.

How do I manage my availability?

Our calendar tool allows you to mark available and unavailable dates so you can avoid double bookings. You can also sync our calendar with other booking platforms if you list your property elsewhere. This ensures your availability is always accurate.

Can I request a security deposit from guests?

Yes, you can choose to require a refundable security deposit. This amount will be collected at the time of booking and returned to the guest after checkout, provided there are no damages or issues with the property.

What are the cancellation policies?

You can choose from different cancellation policies such as flexible, moderate, or strict. This policy will be clearly shown to guests before they make a booking so that there are no misunderstandings.
